There's nothing like taking a little time off to unplug and enjoy the holidays.  Vermont was a perfect snowy escape from the day-to-day craziness of the city.

There was sledding....

And snowshoeing....

And many delicious meals.

Back in New York, some of my favorite people came to visit...

And it was amazing, until New Year's Eve brought one helluva flu and left me banished to my sofa indefinitely.

Regardless, Happy New Year!  While this past one will be hard to beat, I've got high hopes for what 2013 will bring.
