spring lust list

Although it doesn't quite feel like spring, warm weather is just around the corner! Here's a few items on my current purchase list:

shorts, alice + olivia. flats, chinese laundry. clutch, rebecca minkoff. blouse, stella mccartney. bag, j.crew. sandals, salvatore ferragamo. polish, essie. tanks, aeropostale.

With my mama in town this weekend, hopefully I'll be indulging in a little retail therapy!  Is it weird to buy spring/summer clothes when it's still freezing out?

weekend roundup

My little sister has been a Big Apple resident for over a year, but has yet to experience a lot of the "touristy" things that New Yorkers tend to avoid.  So to celebrate her birthday, we bundled up for a bit of sightseeing.

Afterwards, we warmed up with lunch and drinks for St. Patty's Day.

To top it all off, I had a double date at Macondo with Alaina (see her post here)!  They even surprised me with a treat for my own birthday, which is later this week.

friday's fancies: lucky ladies

Fitzgeralds get pretty excited about St. Patty's Day, but you don't have to be Irish to appreciate green beer outfits.

St. Patty isn't the only celebration on tap this weekend: my mama's birthday is today, and tomorrow my baby sister turns 24 (eek!).

Today I'm celebrating a special three-year anniversary.  I'm not a big white-tablecloths-and-roses person, so here are some ways to add a little love to any day:

Is there anything more classically feminine than lace? It never goes out of style: season after season, lace sticks around.
